LNSC, distributor of Ericsson-LG Enterprise in Thailand, installed iPECS-CM and iPECS-LIK system at the Department of Medical Sciences, operating main center in Bangkok and 14 regional centers through out Thailand as a communications system.
The Department of Medical Sciences (DMSc) was founded in March 10, 1942 under the auspice of the Ministry of Public Health in Thailand. DMSc was responsible for four areas i.e. drug quality control, vaccine production, medical laboratory diagnosis, and food analysis.
The Department of Medical sciences operated traditional legacy PBX system, and there are many problems while using it such as many cards were inoperative and many telephony cables were deteriorate, furthermore; it is hard to manage and troubleshoot the system.
LNSC proposed Ericsson-LG Enterprise iPECS solution that meets their target, lower TCO in high technology based on IP telephony standard, lower investment than competitor but fully support before and after installation phase. iPECS solution is flexibility and scalability supports the system expansion in the future.
And, the customer achieved following advantages from Ericsson-LG Enterprise iPECS solutions.
- Significant cost savings: using VoIP solution make free phone calls between main center and regional and save their maintenance cost.
- Eliminate phone wiring and reduce infrastructure investment and maintenance. An IP Telephone system allows you to connect hardware IP phones directly to a standard computer network port. Customer can now eliminate the phone wiring and make adding or moving of extensions much easier.
- Lower TCO, LNSC proposed the better price lower maintenance fee but highly standard support.
- Reliability: iPECS solution increases the reliability, friendly and usefulness of VoIP and change the user behavior to familiar IP telephony technology
